Care tips with rosehip oil

Here is a post to note a bit about rosehip oil, a natural plant oil with a beautiful warm golden colour and rosey scent, and to share a couple of natural beauty care tips about how rosehip oil can be used to help to look after the skin and for self care. A couple of natural beauty care tips include using rosehip oil as a body moisturiser, as a face oil, for the hands, nails and cuticles, to help to look after hair, in a warm bath, and for a gentle face, neck or body massage. Although I am currently using an organic coconut oil for as a body moisturiser and to look after my skin, rosehip oil is also so beautiful, gentle and nourishing, and is often included in natural and organic skin care because of the natural and helpful benefits of rosehip oil for skin care πŸ•ŠπŸŒΈ

About rosehip oil

As noted by Trilogy Products, a natural and eco friendly beauty care brand who are based in NZ, rosehip oil (also known as rosehip seed oil) is a pure plant oil often used in skin care. Further, although rosehip oil is often thought of as being created from rose flowers, it is made from rose hips (a fruit left behind after a rose has bloomed and dropped all of it’s flower petals). Rosehip oil is a beautiful golden oil, and is carefully extracted from rosehip seeds.

Trilogy Products also note how there are many benefits of using rosehip oil on the skin, as rosehip oil is a beauty essential, with a lot of skin loving nutrients. Further, pure, certified organic and cold pressed rosehip oil, including the Certified Organic Rosehip Oil, is full of antioxidants, essential fatty acids (including omega 3 and 6), fatty acids (including omega 9) and beta carotene (pro Vitamin A), making rosehip oil both nourishing and one of the best pure natural plant oils for helping to repair and rejuvenate skin.

Beauty care tips with rosehip oil

As noted by Trilogy Products, rosehip oil can help to boost skin radiance as it has nourishing properties, which help to brighten the skin naturally. Further, rosehip oil can be used on the skin all over your body, and can also be carefully formulated to use on the skin on your face. Rosehip oil is also noted by Trilogy Products as being suitable for all skin types, because rosehip oil is deeply nourishing and moisturising (can help to soothe dry skin), has balancing properties (can be balancing for oily or combination skin), and is pure, cold pressed and organic (is gentle and safe for sensitive skin).

A couple more beauty care tips for rosehip oil could also include using rosehip oil to help to look after hands, nails and cuticles, using a couple of drops in the tips of your hair to help to nourish and moisturise, applying a couple of drops (10 to 12 drops) of rosehip oil in a warm bath (could include bath salts too) and doing a gentle face, neck and shoulder or body care massage with your hands and rosehip oil, gently applied on the skin.

Do you love rosehip oil a lot too, or are there any other ways you often use rosehip oil for beauty care or self care?
