About elle effect

wishing you a happy sunday and here is a post about elle effect, a rose scented tanning mousse created by elle ferguson. i was hoping a lot to try elle effect tanning mousse for about one year after sharing a Q and a blog post with elle and sharing a free gift giveaway post for an elle effect tanning mousse on my instagram page, care natural blog (@carenaturalblog) and i won a free gift giveaway post by elle effect just a couple of weeks ago, where a tanning mousse kit was a part of the gift giveaway πŸ•Šβ˜ΊοΈ the elle effect tanning mousse (and a couple of other items which were also included as a part of the free gift giveaway, including a hair straightener by ghd australia to also share in a post up on care natural b soon) was safely posted from australia and i hope the post could be helpful in case you could love elle and elle effect a lot too, or could be hoping to try a helpful and wonderful tanning mousse with a golden glow for the first time.

about elle effect

‘good things happen to babes who tan’ by elle ferguson

as noted on the elle effect tanning mousse bottle,

elle effect tanning mousse is created in california and delivers the perfect golden tan. vegan, sulphate and paraben free, this super lightweight, velvety mousse is easy to apply for both first time or experienced tanners, keeping you hydrated with aloe leaf juice.

naturally scented with pure rose essential oil to eliminate the tell tale scent of self tan, elle effect tanning mousse is designed to be worn all year round.

how to get that golden glow:

πŸ•Š step one: shake bottle well. ensure your skin is exfoliated, clean and dry.

πŸ•Š step two: pump the elle effect tanning mousse onto your elle effect tanning mitt and apply in circular motions.

πŸ•Š step three: start with your legs and work your way up the body.

wait until your skin is touch dry before repeating steps two and three for a deeper tan. avoid water for 4 to 8 hours.

for the ultimate elle effect tan, leave tanning mousse on for 8 hours or more before showering off to reveal the ultimate sun less, rose smelling tan. to maintain a perfect tan, moisturise daily and repeat the above steps once a week.

applying elle effect for the first time

elle effect comes in a carefully packaged bubble wrap kit, with colourful stickers created by elle, a soft tanning applicator mitt to help to apply the tanning mousse as carefully and smoothly as possible, a coloured post card with a photo of elle for elle effect and a 200 ml white bottle of elle effect tanning mousse with a lot of helpful notes on the bottle about elle effect, with all of the ingredients and a couple of care tips about how to best use and apply elle effect tanning mousse. before applying elle effect tanning mousse for the first time i made sure skin was clean and dry and had used a natural body brush in the shower and applied an organic coconut oil as a body moisturiser before hand.

i added a small amount of tanning mousse from pump on the mitt and carefully followed instructions on the packaging, to apply in circular motions and kind of sweeping motions. i found it quite helpful to apply as quickly and carefully as possible in a circle shape and to also carefully go over face and hands, ankles and feet with tanning mousse left on the mitt. the tanning mousse is a beautiful caramel colour with a light, rose scent and is incredibly soft and velvety and the mitt helps a lot in applying the tanning mousse evenly on skin and with care. i also stood on an old towel as i was applying elle effect (just in case) and just after applying elle effect all over my body (including face) it truely looked as though i had been on a warm and sunny holiday for a couple of weeks and i felt so happy.

the tanning mousse was quite quick to dry (only took about 5 mins) and i popped on clothes again. it could be helpful to maybe avoid exercise (and water from swimming or a shower or a bath) for as long as possible after applying elle effect, just in case you could perspire a little or water could wash off the tanning mousse a little (i found waiting about 8 hours if possible after applying elle effect is helpful in helping to ensure tanning mousse can absorb on skin and not be washed off a bit early). elle effect is so beautiful and extremely natural looking as it helped all of the skin on my body to look sun kissed with a warm golden glow and my skin to look a couple of shades more tanned. it looked the most sun kissed for the first couple of days after applying, although also stayed on for about one week.

elle effect tanning mousse is noted to be made with a couple of natural ingredients, including pure rose essential oil, aloe vera and coconut oil and i could recommend elle effect a lot in case you could be hoping to try a helpful and wonderful tanning mousse too, maybe for a special occasion (as i found it to be very safe and reliable and beautifully warm and natural looking) or maybe just for day to day life in case you could be hoping to look a bit more sun kissed (after applying elle effect i felt as though i had been on a warm and sunny holiday) πŸ•Šβ˜ΊοΈ in case you could be hoping to check an earlier post sharing a Q and a with elle about elle effect a link to the post is here and for more information (and care tips about how to use and apply elle effect) please check the elle effect website (a link to the website is here) and instagram page, elle effect (@elleeffect).
