Here is a recipe for an orange and almond cake made with whole oranges and a lot of ground almonds, by Claudia Roden, a kind and beautiful writer who has a lot of safe, reliable and nourishing recipes 🕊 I made an orange and almond cake just a couple of days ago as we had quite a lot of fresh oranges at home and the cake was so nourishing and generous, and was a beautiful bright orange colour ! 🌸 oranges are noted to be full of vitamin C, which helps to look after and support your health and wellbeing, and ground almonds are also noted to contain a lot of vitamin E, which helps to nourish your skin, nails, hair and health and wellbeing from the inside out.
Here is a post to share a simple and easy to make recipe for a summer drink, made with just a couple of natural ingredients, including fresh lemons, limes and fresh ginger 🕊 my cousin Pete carefully chose a lime tree from a plant nursery where he and his family work just a couple of years ago (in 2016) and there are a lot of limes growing on the lime tree in our garden 🌸 I often make the summer drink with fresh lemons and limes from the trees in our garden at home to help to keep as hydrated as possible, and hope the summer drink recipe could be helpful in case it is warm and sunny where you are from too, or in case you love fresh fruits a lot too.
Here is a post to share a recipe for summer peaches, with fresh honey and chopped almonds I sometimes make in the summer, when there are a lot of beautiful different kinds of ripe peaches (golden, pink) from countryside orchards 🕊🌸 for the recipe you would just need a couple of ripe peaches, fresh honey and whole natural almonds, and you could also include creamy yoghurt and any other kind of fruit you enjoy, or a different kind of fruit in case you cannot find any peaches close by to where you are (could also include strawberries, watermelon, oranges, bananas, blueberries).
Here is a post to share a recipe for cookies with chocolate m&ms I made just in December, with some m&ms my younger brother Chris gave me for Christmas 🕊 I found the full recipe for the cookies on a beautiful blog called tried and true, and the cookies came out as being so soft, a light gold colour and with a lot of colourful m&ms inside 🌸 please note, although the recipe is not plant based (I often try to post as many natural and plant based recipes as I can, which help to look after and support health and wellbeing) the cookies are so delicious and could be ok in moderation 🤗 I hope the recipe could also be helpful in case you love cookies a lot too, or could be looking after or babysitting small children who could enjoy doing some baking.
Here is a post to share a recipe for slow cooked chicken by Miranda Kerr, noted on the KORA Organics Spread the Light blog 🕊 I often cook for my mum and younger brother Chris and although I enjoy plant based recipes a lot and try to create and cook plant based recipes as much as possible, the chicken recipe by Miranda Kerr is so lovely and nourishing and is made with a lot of healthy and nurturing ingredients, including coconut oil, turmeric, rosemary, onions and garlic 🌸 the recipe is a slow cook recipe, where the chicken is quite carefully made and is cooked for about 4 hours, and you can also make roast vegetables and green vegetables to eat with the chicken too.
Here is a simple and plant based recipe for fresh strawberries and banana, with honey and chopped almonds 🕊 it is spring, early summer in NZ (where I am from) and the weather is warm and sunny and we just bought a packet of strawberries from our local fruit and veggie market a couple of days ago (our first strawberries of the season) 🌸 strawberries are one of my favourite fruits, and I hope the recipe could be helpful in case you enjoy strawberries a lot too! to make the recipe, you just need fresh strawberries and banana, honey and whole almonds to chop, and you could hopefully find the ingredients for the recipe in your garden and at your local shop or fruit and veggie market 🌸
Here is a recipe for a veggie pizza I often make for our family for dinner, and made for lunch just a couple of days ago 🕊🌸 the pizza dough is made in our bread maker and the pizza is made with mostly plant based ingredients you could hopefully find in your garden or at your local fruit and veggie market or shop, and you could also change the cheese to a plant based cheese in case you are hoping for the recipe to be plant based 🌸 a couple of the ingredients included on the pizza include a simple home made tomato sauce, red bell pepper, cheese and fresh herbs from the garden, and you could also include any different kinds of ingredients you enjoy, including courgettes, lean protein, rocket, olives, capers, sun dried tomatoes, artichokes and more.
