Here is a post to share a plant based recipe for chocolate and hazelnut tarts, created and published by Ella Mills (@deliciouslyella) in one of her recipe books, called Deliciously Ella Every Day 🕊 all of Ella's recipes are so nourishing and carefully made, and there are a lot of beautiful photos and helpful notes and tips in her book 🌸 the recipe for the chocolate and hazelnut tarts is made with just a couple of plant based ingredients you could hopefully find at your local shop, including fresh hazelnuts, maple syrup, cacao and coconut oil and hope sharing the recipe could be helpful in case you love plant based baking and foods a lot too !
Here is a recipe for an orange and almond cake made with whole oranges and a lot of ground almonds, by Claudia Roden, a kind and beautiful writer who has a lot of safe, reliable and nourishing recipes 🕊 I made an orange and almond cake just a couple of days ago as we had quite a lot of fresh oranges at home and the cake was so nourishing and generous, and was a beautiful bright orange colour ! 🌸 oranges are noted to be full of vitamin C, which helps to look after and support your health and wellbeing, and ground almonds are also noted to contain a lot of vitamin E, which helps to nourish your skin, nails, hair and health and wellbeing from the inside out.
Here is a post to share a recipe for cookies with chocolate m&ms I made just in December, with some m&ms my younger brother Chris gave me for Christmas 🕊 I found the full recipe for the cookies on a beautiful blog called tried and true, and the cookies came out as being so soft, a light gold colour and with a lot of colourful m&ms inside 🌸 please note, although the recipe is not plant based (I often try to post as many natural and plant based recipes as I can, which help to look after and support health and wellbeing) the cookies are so delicious and could be ok in moderation 🤗 I hope the recipe could also be helpful in case you love cookies a lot too, or could be looking after or babysitting small children who could enjoy doing some baking.
Here is a post to share and note a bit about a beautiful candle from sweet treats & co, a candle and melts company who are based in NZ (where I am from) 🕊 sweet treats & co kindly offered to send a discount code for a candle or melt from the sweet treats & co online shop, and the candle I chose is called the Beauty and the Beast candle, and is noted to be inspired by the glass enclosed rose from the classic movie 🌸 the candle is so beautiful and looks so lovely in the glass holder, and you could also add the lid in the day time or when the candle is not being used 🕊 the scent I chose for the candle is called vanilla cupcake, and is so soft, creamy and light.
Here is a recipe for chocolate chip cookies, from a lovely cook, food writer and publisher from New Zealand, called Annabel Langbein. Annabel Langbein has a lot of baking and cooking books published with lots of beautiful photos, and her recipes are always so lovely and reliable and are often made with fresh ingredients. I opened a tin of condensed milk a couple of days ago and was a bit worried about how we could use the condensed milk, though I thought of baking chocolate chip cookies, as we also have some dark chocolate at home. I am hoping to bake the chocolate chip cookies today and the cookies would be so lovely to have for morning or afternoon tea or with a cup of coffee or tea in case you feel like something sweet 🕊🍪
Here is a recipe for blueberry bran muffins, from a muffin recipe book from home 🕊🌸 I just made the muffins on Monday and I love the healthy bran flavour, the fluffy texture and the blueberries. Although there are a couple of steps in the recipe, the recipe is quite generous, and the muffins are quite quick to bake in the oven. I sometimes have a muffin for breakfast with a cup of coffee, or for morning or afternoon tea with a cup of tea or herbal tea and the blueberry bran muffins are also quite filling. I hope you enjoy the recipe 🌸
Here is a recipe for blueberry muffins from a muffin cook book of my Mum's we have at home. The blueberry muffins are one of my favourite things to bake and I often bake the muffins every couple of weeks. You could hopefully find the ingredients for the muffins in your garden and at your local shop and you could also add a different berry or fruit in case you don't have any blueberries at home, or if there is a different fruit you love to bake with 🕊💕
Here is a second interview with beautiful Danijela Unkovich, who is in the natural beauty and health care industry and who I look up to a lot, to share on Litten blog 🌸 Danijela is a qualified nutritionist from New Zealand and has a blog called healthy always and a beautiful Instagram page (@healthyalways) where she shares lots of healthy recipes, and health and wellness blogs. Danijela is also an ambassador for SKIN by Ecostore, a lovely natural skin care range made with safe and natural ingredients.
I bought a copy of a book called 100 Best Health Foods from a book shop a couple of years ago in about 2012 or 2013 when I was studying at uni. I was at a book shop one day and remember thinking the book cover looked so beautiful with the photos of the broccoli, raspberries and almonds, and the book is full of helpful nutritional information about healthy foods and superfoods, with accompanying recipes to try.
