May favourites

Here is a post to share just a couple of natural beauty care, skin care and other kinds of favourites for the month of may 🕊 it is early winter in nz (where i am from) although one of the favourites is a white linen wrap blouse from Country Road just bought in a sale, i am hoping to wear quite a lot in spring and in summer. A couple more of the favourites noted include a light pink eco friendly deodorant by everkind, a fresh fruit juice recipe with quite a lot of vitamin C (i created for a juice fountain) and clips by kitty cotten about green beauty, home, life and how to carefully build a capsule wardrobe, found on her youtube channel.

Here is a post to share a plant based recipe for chocolate and hazelnut tarts, created and published by Ella Mills (@deliciouslyella) in one of her recipe books, called Deliciously Ella Every Day 🕊 all of Ella's recipes are so nourishing and carefully made, and there are a lot of beautiful photos and helpful notes and tips in her book 🌸 the recipe for the chocolate and hazelnut tarts is made with just a couple of plant based ingredients you could hopefully find at your local shop, including fresh hazelnuts, maple syrup, cacao and coconut oil and hope sharing the recipe could be helpful in case you love plant based baking and foods a lot too !

A fresh fruit juice

Here is a post to share a recipe for a fresh fruit juice made with fresh ginger, orange, apples, lemon, fejoas, pineapple and fresh mint, made in a juice fountain 🕊 I bought a juice fountain juicer by Breville a couple of weeks ago to help to look after health as much as possible, and hope the fruit juice recipe could be helpful in case you love fresh fruits a lot too and could have a juicer at home too or be hoping to be able to buy one soon 🌸 I created the fresh juice recipe with just a couple of fresh fruits and ginger we could buy at our local fruit shop, and some fresh mint from our garden at home, and hope you could be able to find the ingredients too, close by to where you are from 🕊

Here is a post to share a second Q&A with Danijela (@healthyalways) a kind, qualified and registered nutritionist from feel fresh nutrition (@feelfreshnutrition), who is from nz 🕊 Danijela has a beautiful blog and Instagram page with a lot of colourful photos, where she shares a lot of healthy recipes, health and wellness care tips and inspiration ! she loves healthy foods, cooking, baking and creating, and is extremely knowledgeable about nutrition, healthy foods and the connection between nutrition, health and wellness 🌸 a couple of questions I thought of to ask Danijela are about nutrition and self care tips for looking after your skin, and I hope the Q&A could be helpful in case you are curious about or interested a lot in nutrition, and in self care and looking after yourself as much as possible.

Here is a recipe for an orange and almond cake made with whole oranges and a lot of ground almonds, by Claudia Roden, a kind and beautiful writer who has a lot of safe, reliable and nourishing recipes 🕊 I made an orange and almond cake just a couple of days ago as we had quite a lot of fresh oranges at home and the cake was so nourishing and generous, and was a beautiful bright orange colour ! 🌸 oranges are noted to be full of vitamin C, which helps to look after and support your health and wellbeing, and ground almonds are also noted to contain a lot of vitamin E, which helps to nourish your skin, nails, hair and health and wellbeing from the inside out.

Skin care tips by urban herbalist

Here is a post to share a couple of nutritional tips for looking after your skin as much as possible (and for reducing acne in case you have oily or acne prone skin) 🕊 the tips are carefully noted in a post by urban herbalist, a healthy and wellbeing hub who are noted to include naturopaths, herbalists, a nutritionist and a pharmicist and who are based in auckland, nz 🌸 a couple of the nutrition tips noted include cut out sugar, increase fibre, avoid dairy, eat more omega 3, get more vitamin D, get more zinc and take probiotics and hope noting the tips could be helpful !

Water with fresh lemons, limes and ginger

Here is a post to share a simple and easy to make recipe for a summer drink, made with just a couple of natural ingredients, including fresh lemons, limes and fresh ginger 🕊 my cousin Pete carefully chose a lime tree from a plant nursery where he and his family work just a couple of years ago (in 2016) and there are a lot of limes growing on the lime tree in our garden 🌸 I often make the summer drink with fresh lemons and limes from the trees in our garden at home to help to keep as hydrated as possible, and hope the summer drink recipe could be helpful in case it is warm and sunny where you are from too, or in case you love fresh fruits a lot too.

Summer peaches with honey and almonds

Here is a post to share a recipe for summer peaches, with fresh honey and chopped almonds I sometimes make in the summer, when there are a lot of beautiful different kinds of ripe peaches (golden, pink) from countryside orchards 🕊🌸 for the recipe you would just need a couple of ripe peaches, fresh honey and whole natural almonds, and you could also include creamy yoghurt and any other kind of fruit you enjoy, or a different kind of fruit in case you cannot find any peaches close by to where you are (could also include strawberries, watermelon, oranges, bananas, blueberries).
