I opened a tin of condensed milk a couple of days ago and was a bit worried about how we could use the condensed milk, though I thought of baking chocolate chip cookies, as we also have some dark chocolate at home. Here is a recipe for an almond and banana smoothie 🌸 the recipe is from the 100 Best Health Foods book, and has just a couple of ingredients, including almonds, plant based milk, bananas, natural vanilla and cinnamon, which you could hopefully find at your local shop. The smoothie is quite quick to make and has a light, creamy and nourishing flavour with the almonds, plant based milk and bananas. The almonds in the recipe from the almonds and plant based milk (in case you use almond milk) are very high in vitamin E, and the smoothie is also quite filling with the almonds and banana.
I have been using lavender oil for a couple of years, both in the bath with epsom bath salts, in a lavender and honey face scrub and sometimes on my pulse points just before going to bed, to help to have a calm sleep. The smoothie recipe is quite simple and easy to make and you could hopefully find the ingredients for the smoothie in your garden or at your local shop too. The ingredients included in the smoothie include banana, raspberries, blueberries, almond milk, Greek yogurt, ground almonds and chia seeds. I enjoy making the smoothie both in the morning for breakfast, or for morning or afternoon tea as it is quite healthy and filling with the banana and the Greek yogurt.
